Throughout 2024, we’ve continued to work alongside Third Space to help drive value in the delivery of four new luxury health clubs across London.
Undertaking a combined role of Quantity Surveying and Contract Administrator services, we’ve been part of the project team delivering over 110,000ft2 on new premium fitness facilities encapsulating all elements of Third Space’s proposition. In addition to the traditional gym and studio facilities, a trend for these clubs sees an increase in wellness and relaxation areas.
The new clubs, located in Battersea, Clapham Junction, Richmond, and Wood Wharf, all presented unique cost and delivery challenges. Our team worked closely with the client to mitigate risks and maximise value for money.
“In 2024 Third Space continued their strong trajectory of growth, and we are thrilled to have helped them deliver four more remarkable clubs. We have worked with the Third Space team since 2018 and have forged a strong understanding of the brand and company ethos of getting better as they get bigger. As such, we have taken on this mantra and continuously look at ways to improve our service offering as the Third Space property portfolio evolves, with 2025 looking to be another exciting year”
Will Hare, Director.
As the fitness sector looks to have fully bounced back from the pandemic and private gym membership penetration levels seem to be at an all-time high, our portfolio in the sector looks set to grow further in 2025. With key clients such as Third Space, along with other leading national operators, we will be working on over 30 fitness and wellbeing facilities across the UK this year, cementing our position as one of the UK’s leading Cost Management consultants within the sector.
