We led the refurbishment of the Nuffield Health Canary Wharf Health Club, a 35,000ft2 premium fitness and wellbeing facility located in one of London’s busiest commercial districts. The club offers a broad mix of training, wellness and recovery spaces, including squash courts, a 25m heated swimming pool, and expansive cardio, strength and functional training zones. Acting as Quantity Surveyor, Project Manager and Employer’s Agent, we managed the project end‑to‑end, ensuring cost certainty, operational continuity and high‑quality delivery within a live environment.

The project focused on upgrading and reconfiguring key member areas to enhance overall flow, accessibility and user experience while aligning with Nuffield Health’s wider corporate wellbeing strategy. This included refurbishing high‑traffic zones, improving functional layouts and integrating enhancements that support personalised training, physiotherapy and group fitness programmes offered within the club.
